The Trager® Approach Trager is a pleasurable, gentle and effective approach to movement reeducation and mind/body integration. The Trager Approach can help release deep-seated physical and mental patterns and can facilitate deep relaxation, stress reduction, increased physical mobility, and mental clarity. A session usually lasts from 60 to 90 minutes. No oils or lotions are used. You may choose to be fully clothed, or partially clothed and appropriately draped. |

| The benefits of a Trager session are long-lasting and cumulative, with subsequent sessions
allowing for deeper and longer lasting changes. At the beginning of your session, your practitioner adopts a calm state of consciousness similar to meditation. From this place of peace and awareness, your practitioner uses both touch and movement to invite tense holding patterns in your body/mind to experience freedom, ease, lightness and playfulness. Mentastics® are simple, effortless, self-care movements that your practitioner will share with you before, during or after the table part of the session.
